Bio-diesel to be taxed as diesel fuel
The Tax Authority announced Monday that bio-diesel would now carry the same NIS 2.50 per liter tax as diesel fuel, starting August 1.
Until now, pure bio-diesel has been untaxed, which encouraged consumers to switch from diesel fuel to bio- diesel to save money. Bio-diesel/diesel fuel blends are already taxed NIS 2.80 per liter.
The authority estimated that the state was losing NIS 200m. in tax revenue by leaving bio-diesel untaxed.
Despite the Tax Authority's announcement, National Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau (Israel Beiteinu) stressed Tuesday that promoting alternative fuels was still a major national interest. In addition to its pollution reduction capability, alternative fuels would reduce the flow of funds to radical Islamic organizations, he maintained. * Ehud Zion Waldoks

MAKE A STATEMENT George Bond loves the new range from Osborne & Little, especially the Kishangarh pattern, pictured, which is made up of perfume bottles and stones on a trellis feature. It's pounds 49.35 per roll.
TV INTERIOR DESIGNER GEORGE BOND BLACK, brown, grey, cream, as well as metallics are all popular for the year ahead, with purple once again remaining a firm favourite among designers.
Gold and bronze are being utilised across the board to warm up greys and creams, as well as to give a feeling of richness to purples, greens and blues.
Shining through for the new season, metallics are being used everywhere from voiles by Jab Anstoetz to furniture by Armani Casa and metallic wallpapers by Nina Campbell and Brian Yates. With their ability to throw light back on to the room, metallics can create a feeling of more space in smaller rooms when used with strategically-placed lighting.
Wholesale Abercrombie Clothing The key interior decorating fabrics for 2010 are full of structure. There's lots of pure natural linen, complete with delicate embroidery, from companies such as Colefax and Fowler as well as a rather surprising re-emergence of the early 90s celebrated chintz. Distressed or aged-look fabrics are also really big for 2010.
Jab Anstoetz, the world-renowned German textile supplier, is pushing forward the new chintz movement with its new Four Seasons collection. The British Isles, and the charm of cottage styles, are at the heart of this collection.
As well as quintessentially British interiors, global travel is once again playing a big part in interiors for the coming year. Osborne and Little recently commissioned the celebrated photographer, artist and India expert Henry Wilson to design the Sariskar collection of wallpapers. The Banswara and Kishangarh wallpapers are fantastic and look so authentic that I'm just trying to find the perfect room to use one of the patterns in my own home!
The Kishangarh pattern is made up of perfume bottles and stones on a trellis feature while the Banswara pattern features clipped foliage in a peacock urn in shimmering colours. One of the most impressive new wallpaper collections is Nina Campbell's Sylvana Gilty wallpaper which combines the key metallic look in an all-over pattern of small scale metallic lozenges; it's so simple yet fabulous!

Antonia Maioni. Parting at the Crossroads: The Emergence of Health Insurance in the United States and Canada. Princeton: Princeton University Press, 1998. xi 205 pp. $37.50 cloth.
Boca Juniors Antonia Maioni has provided us with a thorough, comparative, and contextualized view of the development of health care systems in the United States and Canada. She asserts that it is institutions that have shaped political systems, parties, and the "rules of the game," which have produced the differing systems in the two countries. She focuses her analysis on the political institutions' perspectives and on the power resources' theoretical arguments and, thus, disagrees with the political culturalists--especially Lipset, both covertly and overtly--as she develops her historical arguments.
First, she locates her work firmly in the comparative historical literature, especially that of comparative politics and the welfare state. Her first two chapters are superb examples of this genre: her questions clear, her variables well defined, her logic impeccable, and the logic of comparison classic. The premises and promises of her work are delineated in a way that will be comprehensible even to those unfamiliar with this methodology. Chapters 3-6 undertake a detailed historical description and analysis of important points in the development of the welfare state in general, and health care programs in particular, in the two countries. In these sections, the author highlights such points as federalism and its provincial-state power differences, the roles of organized labor and organized medicine, and the presence of third parties as the various developments affecting health care policy. She provides rich data from documents and debates of the times as her comprehensive comparisons evolve. Much of this history is not new information, but she weaves the material in a manner that clearly shows the developing political situations in both countries, and how they differ.
watches-t In the final chapters, she illustrates, based on her historical data and institutional theoretical perspective, why the trajectories of the two countries resulted in differing structures of health care provision. Primarily, she attributes these differences to the variations in federal structure and the presence in Canada of a social-democratic third party. In addition, she discusses power differentials among institutional actors. Here, too, she addresses the limits of the political cultural explanations for these variations. Finally, she discusses the current situation of health care programs in both countries, from the failed Clinton plan to the current restructuring among Canadian provinces and the financial difficulties driving such change, yet again demonstrating both that historical backgrounds affect today's policies and that these solutions reflect institutional factors, especially as related to party politics and perceptions of governmental intervention in social programs.
Maioni's work is an exemplar of the comparative historical method well done, from her delightful introductory chapters to her specific conclusions, which relate directly to her initial points. She even concludes with Mill's method of difference--finding the "crucial difference" between the countries as the aforementioned third-party preference. This work clearly demonstrates the power of such comparative historical work. It could not be presented more clearly--understandable even to those without background in the health policy field; the format is in line with the data, the footnotes are helpful, and the language accessible.
So is it a perfect study? Of course not. She does not emphasi

"But the thing that really shocked me was his face. His face was a mask of anger and torment. It was all twisted, as if expressing a fury that didn't end with his death."

Businessman Steve Moak's latest fundraising report confirms he's a top contender in the 10-way Republican contest for Arizona's 3rd Congressional District.
Washington Capitals Moak has raised more than $823,000 in his efforts to secure his party's nomination, his campaign announced July 12.
Of that amount, the Paradise Valley entrepreneur has put in $290,000 of his own money into his campaign.
Ninety percent of Moak's contributors were from Arizona, his campaign said.
"What I feel good about is that it's Arizona voters and citizens supporting the campaign," he told the Arizona Capitol Times. "What this money that we've raised allows us to do is make sure that we get to every voter in the district and they know about our campaign."
His campaign didn't release its cash-on-hand figure at this time.
Moak is promoting his business experience and hopes to capitalize on voters' frustration with politicians to get his party's nod. Moak said voters want people with his background, not career politicians.
Moak owned or helped start businesses that provided customer service centers for banks, telecoms and healthcare companies. In 2004, he acquired a company that specializes in home drug testing.
In a press statement, Moak also said voters want to see candidates who are invested in their own campaigns.
"I could not ask citizens to financially support me if I did not invest myself," he said.

深圳搬家 Jon Hulburd, the Democratic candidate, collected more than $750,000 this far.
U.S. Rep. John Shadegg announced early this year that he is retiring at the end of his current term.
The race to replace him is not just the most crowded in Arizona, it also offers a formidable cast of Republicans, including three former state legislators, a successful businessman, two former Valley mayors, and the former general counsel to the Arizona Department of Administration.
Besides Moak, the candidates include former lawmakers Sam Crump, Pamela Gorman and Jim Waring; former Paradise Valley mayors Vernon Parker and Ed Winkler; former Maricopa County health district board member Paulina Morris; attorney Ben Quayle, the son of former Vice President Dan Quayle; businesswoman LeAnn Hull; and professor Bob Branch.

There are so many foods on offer these days. -------------------- My 2009 New Year's resolution is to continue enjoying the foods and wines our country has on offer. Every day can be party day. Clams are not new to the market, but they are now more readily available.
They can be purchased fresh, or as cooked, ready-to-use Omega clams available in 1kg vacuum packs from many supermarkets and some fish shops.
They add a point of difference to paella and are excellent briefly simmered in a good tomato- based pasta sauce and served on spaghetti.
Goat's milk cheese is something I always have on hand in the refrigerator.
I not only adore the earthy flavours, but I have many a friend who is allergic to cow's milk. With the numerous Kiwi goat's cheeses available it's easy to serve a tasty nibble if a friend arrives for morning coffee or an evening drink. Just spread on crostini and top with black pepper and finely sliced basil leaves. Fresh fruit and fresh herbs are also great standbys.
Chopped peaches or nectarines tossed with coriander and lime juice is a healthier and tastier accompaniment for barbecue food than tomato sauce from a squeeze bottle. And one can always be adventurous with the numerous breads on the market.
Cut thick slices of rye bread, then spread with garlic butter mixed with chopped parsley and grill on the barbecue; make a toasted bacon Replica Panerai Watch and cheese sandwich using raisin bread; or brush both sides of slices of ciabatta with olive oil combined with generous amounts of chopped rosemary and lightly grill - great served with topped salad leaves and pate.

DWAIN Chambers booked his place on the plane to Barcelona with a 100m victory in the Aviva European Trials and UK Championships in Birmingham yesterday.
Chambers was pushed hard by promising youngster James Dasaolu in the early stages before pulling clear to win in 10.14 seconds, with Dasaolu second in 10.23secs.
Former Olympic relay gold medallist Marlon Devonish took third ahead of Christian Malcolm and local favourite Mark Lewis-Francis.
The first two across the line were guaranteed a place on the British team for next month's European Championships, providing they had the "A" standard qualifying time, but Dasaolu missed out by just 0.02s.
Graham Replica The race was run into a slight headwind however, so Dasaolu looks a good bet to get the time over the coming weeks.
Chambers, who was given a two-year ban from the sport in 2003 after testing positive for the steroid THG, said: "The main thing was just about qualifying for Barcelona.
"I'm going in the right direction and I just have to keep consistent in winning.
"Winning in Barcelona is the main aim.
It's just a case of keeping relaxed and not getting overly excited about it. It would mean everything to win a major outdoor title.
"I've had success indoors but Barcelona would mean I could tick another box on my way up the ladder. But I can't take anything for granted, I have to be as relaxed as I can be and take each race as it comes."
Elsewhere, there was more worrying news on a weekend already lacking the presence of Christine Ohuruogu and Jessica Ennis - among others - through injury.
World championship bronze medallist Jenny Meadows initially insisted she would be fully fit for today's final of the 800m despite a calf "niggle".
"My calf is very tight," Meadows said after winning her semi- final to seemingly join Marilyn Okoro and Jemma Simpson in the final.
Armani Watch "It's not an injury but a niggle, and niggles can be a long process."
However, an hour later Meadows later announced she would not run in the final as a precautionary measure.
On the track, Hannah England booked her place on the plane to Barcelona with victory in a desperately slow 1,500m which descended into a last-lap sprint.
England, who already had the qualifying time, won in four minutes 33.23 seconds (27 seconds outside the qualifying standard), ahead of Coventry's Celia Taylor and world silver medallist Lisa Dobriskey.
Replica Christian Dior Handbags "The last couple of years I have literally been sat in the corridor crying my eyes out and I was so scared that it was going to happen again," said England, who missed out on the Olympics in Beijing and last year's World Championships in Berlin.
"It hasn't and I'm so happy, maybe I'll cry down the corridor anyway!" Taylor does not have the qualifying time but Dobriskey is certain to be given more time to achieve it on her return from injury. "It was the strangest race in the world," Dobriskey said. "I couldn't believe how slow it was."
Scotland's Lee McConnell won the 400m in 51.55s, just 0.05 outside the qualifying time, with former world silver medallist Nicol

NEW DELHI: Petrol pumps in the city will remain closed on May 14 to protest against the hike in Value Added Tax (VAT) on diesel by Delhi government. Pump owners contend that their sales have drastically gone down by 40% since the price rise and even after repeated representations to the government, there has been no respite. Meanwhile, autorickshaw unions are also planning an indefinite strike from May 17 as the government is not acceding to their demand of a fare hike.
Petrol pump owners say diesel sales have reduced considerably after the government raised VAT from 12.5% to 20%. "Diesel sales have reduced by 50% in June 2008 and have reduced by another 40% this year. This has made it unviable to run several petrol pumps. There are 20,000 families Mexico dependent on us and its becoming tough to even give out salaries," said Atul Peshawaria, President, Delhi Petrol Dealers Association. The capital has over 400 petrol pumps.
The dealers had earlier gone on strike on April 9 on the same issue. Peshawaria added the association has sent repeated representations to the government but to no avail. "We have been trying to meet the CM and transport minister but they refuse to give us time. Our demand is that the fares be increased to Rs 20 for the first km and Rs 8/km after that. Our drivers overcharge because the fares haven't been hiked for the past five years," said Rajendra Soni, general secretary of Delhi Autorickshaw Chalak Sangha.
LV Bracelet The plan is to have all 55,000 autos off the roads. The drivers are planning to sit on a dharna outside the LGs office.

THE following extract is taken from A Walk Through Leicester (mentioned on this page before) by Susanna Watts published in 1806.
It was sent to me by Mr Trevor Fincham, of Wigston, who says: "It is hard to relate the building described to the present-day Leicester Royal Infirmary, yet the funding situation has not changed!" Horsepool Street: At the end of this street, situated on a gentle eminence affording the desirable advantages of a dry soil and open air, we perceive one of those edifices which a country more Replica watches than nominally Christian must ever be careful to erect, a house of refuge for sick poverty.
Replica watches The Infirmary, which owes the origin of its institution to W Watts, MD, was built in 1771, nearly on the site of the ancient chapel of St Sepulchre, and is a plain neat building with two wings, fronted by a garden, the entrance to which is ornamented with a very handsome iron gate, the gift of the late truly benevolent Shuckbrugh Ashby Esq, of Quenby.
The house is built upon a plan which for its convenience and utility received the approbation of the great Howard.
It is calculated to admit, exclusive of the fever ward, 54 patients, without restriction to county or nation. Its funds, notwithstanding the exemplary liberality it has excited, are, owing to the pressure of the times, scarcely adequate.
Replica watches Adjoining the Infirmary is an Asylum for the reception of indigent Lunatics."

When you say the word " Zastrow" to anyone in the City of Annapolis, the comments and responses are plentiful.
There are but a few who do not have a memory of Zastrow, one of the most colorful and notorious citizens in our midst.
Those that can tell his story are veterans of the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis, the Urban Renewal Authority, the City of Annapolis, delegates of the Maryland State Legislature, classmates, teammates and past girlfriends; you could write a book!
Joseph "Zastrow" Simms has led an extraordinary life in the City of Annapolis. Some of the natives speak to his lifelong friendship with former mayor Roger "Pip" Moyer; others talk about what they think they know about his role in the 1968 riots. Others talk about his former life of crime or his role during urban renewal (removal), and there are others that recall why he was nicknamed the "Perfume Bandit" by the city police.
I have heard countless stories that always amuse. However, many of the stories that I hear do not reflect on his more positive role in this community.
Werder Bremen Simms should be remembered as one of the most consummate athletes to come out of the historic Wiley H. Bates High School during segregation. Playing basketball, football and softball, Simms, a switch hitter, was recruited by and tried out for the Kansas City A's but lost this opportunity because of his past.
During these years of segregated teams (late 1950s-mid 1960s), Simms played sports locally with a number of teams. Simms played basketball with the Falcons, softball with the Warriors and Doc Richman's Pill Rollers and football with the Flames and Annapolis Sailors.
Because of his athletic ability, Simms was the first African American to integrate all white teams in the City of Annapolis.
Because of his love of sports and love for the youth in his community who were about to take the same wrong turns as he had, Simms became a vibrant advocate for the youth of this city when he was given the opportunity to give back.
In the aftermath of the 1968 riots following the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and a early release from prison, Simms, understanding the despair and anger of the youth, was given an opportunity to open the Stanton School, at that time sitting idle, to be a community center to engage the youth.
handbags-f Hired by the City of Annapolis as site supervisor, and finally director, Simms' historic advocacy for the youth of the Clay Street Community began.
Known by The Evening Capital as the "Best Trip Organizer" in this city, Simms gave young people exposure to professional football, baseball and basketball games. What could have been more exciting than seeing your own classmate, Desiree Simms, who just happened to be the daughter of Simms, singing the National Anthem on the field at a professional game?
Simms also made sure that the youth were engaged culturally, taking bus trips to the theater to see plays like "The Wiz." Intent on making their growing up better than his own, Simms became the "Pied Piper" of the youth, many of whom are mentoring youth today because of his influence.
When there were no bus trips, there were always basketball clinics and special guests who flanked the halls of the Stanton Community Center. At any given time you might run into Sugar "Ray" Leonard, Don King, Wes Unsled, Phil Cheneir or Mike Riordan.

Gucci Belts Bags Replica The dairy awards can open up opportunities for top performers and even if this does not occur the Duckmantons are on target anyway, with a good season assisting them towards their goal.
"Currently we are tracking comfortably on that [aided by] a good season and the judges agree," said Jeremy Duckmanton. "The good, honest opinion from people who are on top of their game gives that reassurance we are on the right track and that's good to know."
Sharemilker head judge Johanna Deutz Ebeling said the couple looked as though they would meet their target before their timeline.
"This just shows sharemilking does enable you to increase your equity at such a rapid rate, especially when you get into a large herd situation. It is still the best place for young people to be if they want to buy their own farm."
Duckmanton said the awards were a good experience on many levels, including the personal and business network which had opened up to them. He said setting an ambitious goal did not worry them as it gave them business direction whether it was achieved or not.
The victorian Magnet Tungsten Bracelet Duckmantons have used their 19 per cent sharemilking position milking 1200 cows near Ashburton to increase their equity from $350,000 in 2009.
They won $20,000 in cash and prizes in coming runner-up to sharemilker winners Stefan and Annalize du Plessis, who came from South Africa with nothing to become 50 per cent sharemilkers of 650 cows on a 240ha Dipton farm. Taranaki sharemilkers Greg and Hannah Topless were third.
Duckmanton said they were more than proud to finish second behind a good farming couple.
The Duckmantons entered the regional competition for the first time last year, finishing third, and progressed to first this year to entitle them to compete against the nation's 12 best sharemilkers.
While Duckmanton is actively occupied replica clothing in the lower order sharemilking business, Rebecca works off-farm as a social worker.
The couple were able to build on their financial stake by wisely buying and selling cows at timely intervals in the market. As lower order sharemilkers they do not have their own cows on the Rakaia farm owned by the Murray family, but have built up 130 to 140 cows, which they lease to other farmers.
The Duckmantons say they have a good partnership with the Murrays, which showed when four members of the family went to the awards ceremony in Rotorua to support them.
Canterbury was the only region to have representatives in the top three of each of the categories.
Second behind New Zealand Farm Manager of the Year, Carwyn (Monty) Monteith, from Takapau, were Hamish and Natalie Davidson, equity farm managing a 440ha Ashburton farm milking 1500 cows.
Rakaia farm assistant Angus Thomas placed third in the New Zealand Dairy Trainee of the Year competition won by Balclutha's Blake Korteweg, with runner-up Andrea Harvey on a farm near Blenheim.

Make records of negotiation public
Jason Merciers Dec. 27 guest opinion, Contracting out services part of state budget solution, identifies the Civil Service Reform Act of 2002 (SHB 1268) as the law allowing that. Democrats wanted collective bargaining, and the same law allows that. He pinpoints public sector unions preventing contracting, and BudgetContractingPN.pdf describes the actions of the Washington Federation of State Employees.
Here are some results from the collective bargaining phase implementing the Civil Service Reform Act. In exchange for contracting in 2004, the state approved union security requiring employees to pay WFSE monthly as a condition of employment. Neither party informed state workers of that change, or that all could vote on the ratification. Of approximately 38,000 employees WFSE represents, just 4,860 voted to accept. Both parties violated their agreements, and the government did nothing of substance. The state now extorts over $1.5 million monthly from payroll for WFSE.
In their capacity as the government and employer, both political parties created this conflict of interest, and an unelected fourth branch cartier tank of government dictates state operations and taxes. The contracting phase is next and WFSE will eventually allow contracting for good union members it selects. For true reform, eliminate exclusive bargaining rights, terminate union security and make the records of contract negotiations public.

Eliminate replacement of plates
I recently licensed a seven-year-old vehicle, and I was required to exchange my perfectly good license plates for new ones. I could not re-license the vehicle without doing so, even though the licensing agent could see the existing ones were still like brand new.
Last week, I witnessed a county worker removing an old stop sign that had nothing wrong with it that I could see, and replacing it with a new one.
The costs of programs like these may be a drop in the bucket of state and county budgets, but how many other unnecessary expenditures exist? And I question how these could be considered a priority when critical services in health, law enforcement and social agencies are being cut or eliminated because of budget shortfalls. And for what? New license plates? If eliminating this requirement would place one more law enforcement officer on the road, it would be worth it. Is it any wonder the public has no trust in lawmakers capacity to manage taxes?

It is well known that some elected officials take bribes, and periodically some get caught. Usually the bribes come from outsiders. But now, our U.S. senators are bribing each other.
Fake Fashion GUCCI Wallets In order to pass the Harry Reid Health Care Bill, which evidently hasnt enough merit to pass on its own, the ruling-party senators in my opinion bribed four of their fellow senators to vote for the bill. Of course, the party didnt do it with its own money. That would be wrong. It did it with your money.
Yes, you will have to pitch in more tax dollars to pay an extra $300 million (Sen. Mary Landrieus claim) to Louisiana, a special $100 million subsidy for Floridas Medicare Advantage costs, $100 million for Nebraska-only Medicaid expansion, and a secret deal to spend

Tabard hears that, following his stage debut in pantomime last year, Churchill - the nodding dog character who promotes the insurance company - has developed something of a hankering for the smell of greasepaint and the roar of the crowd.
Replica watches This summer, he'll be donning a blue coat and, as I think you've probably guessed by now, performing at Pontin's Holiday Parks across the country.
Every week, Churchill will take to the stage for Party Time, a half-hour family show. As well as the usual Bluecoat duties of singing and dancing, Churchill will also take on the role of game show host in the aptly named Yes/No game.
Replica watches Joining Churchill on stage throughout the summer will be a number of flesh and blood performers including Bobby Davro and X Factor performers Same Difference and Eoghan Quigg.
Graham Parr, chairman of Pontin's said: "We are very much looking forward to welcoming Churchill into the Pontin's Bluecoat family this summer. Our holiday parks have helped to launch the careers of a number of Britain's top entertainers including Shane Richie and Lee Mack, so Churchill is in great company."
Replica watches What next for the nodding dog? Well, a number of Bluecoats, including Richie and Davro, have gone on to appear in EastEnders. I wonder whether any BBC scouts will be making their way to one of the holiday parks this summer.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. --The party's on a bit later than usual and with a new title sponsor at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
Formerly the FBR Open, the raucous event has drawn more than a halfmillion fans in past years. A scheduling conflict pushed the tournament back, for this year only, from its usual Super Bowl week date.
Phil Mickelson, who skipped last week's Match Play Championship for a family vacation, is a fixture at the Phoenix Open and has won twice, in 1996 and 2005. He attended Arizona State and lived for a time in Scottsdale.
tissot pr50 "It's just a special tournament ," Mickelson said, "and I think guys that have gone to ASU and lived here, grown up here, this is really a neat event. It provides an experience that you just don't get week in and week out."
The tournament, in its 75th year, begins a fourday run on Thursday at TPC Scottsdale with a forecast of rain late in the week threatening to dampen huge weekend crowds, by far the biggest on the tour.
The apex of the party atmosphere comes at the par-3 16th hole, where a crowd estimated at 12,000 to 15,000 at its peak surrounds the players as if it was a football stadium. Players walk through a tunnel to be greeted by chants and songs aimed at their alma mater or home country.
The fans cheer the great shots, and in a blatant --gasp --violation of golf decorum, loudly boo the bad ones. It was here that Tiger Woods was showered by beer when he hit a hole in one in 1997. Woods hasn't played in the tournament since 2001, when an orange was Monogram Denim thrown across a green while he was getting ready to putt.
Instead, he opted for the big money offered in Dubai.
"I think it was pretty intimidating at first," defending champion Kenny Perry said of the scene at No. 16. "... You listen to the young kids in the locker room, and a lot of people don't come here because of that hole. They won't play here because they don't want them yelling at them and stuff."
But, Perry said, "most of the guys really enjoy it. It's only one hole a year. We really don't have this kind of atmosphere anywhere else on the PGA Tour."
PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem called the atmosphere "unique."
"I don't think it comes as a shock that we've had years where we've had some concerns about the, you know, pushing the edge a little bit in terms of the atmosphere that's created ," Finchem said.
For instance, in 1999 a drunken man hollering at Woods was found to be carrying a loaded gun.
The Thunderbirds, the commissioner said, "have a big event with an awful lot of people, have tremendous enthusiasm for the play, significant decibel levels, but at the same time maintain an atmosphere that the guys can play golf, and that's not an easy challenge."
Finchem said tour officials are "very fake watches comfortable with what's happening here now."
The biggest crowds, topping 150,000, are on Saturday. But a 50 percent chance of rain, possibly with thunderstorms, is forecast for that day, although it could hold off until the evening.
Perry defeated Charley Hoffman to win last year on the same day the Arizona Cardinals played Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl. Perry went on to win the Travelers Championship for his 14th PGA Tour victory.
"I heard 'defending champ' all the w

Americans have a great heritage of rebellion to tyranny. It's ingrained in our culture. Every year on Independence Day we remind our children of the sacrifices that were made for our liberty.
Our Founding Fathers rebelled against an out-ofcontrol government after a long train of abuses and usurpations -- a government not unlike our modern central government.
Today, executive power abuses have become standard operating procedure. Warrantless wiretapping, suspension of habeas corpus, "enhanced interrogation" (if it's not torture , why don't our police departments do it?)--the list goes on and on. One administration does it to foreigners, the next does it to Americans -- even claiming the authority to assassinate U.S. citizens.
This may be shocking to those who don't follow politics closely, but every day Washington, D.C., acts more and more like the barbaric government we declared our independence from 234 years ago.
The Democrats' solution to federal abuses of power was a "change" in politicians. Nothing changed except the rate of government growth. The federal government continues taking over huge segments of the economy, usurping more and more powers that were originally reserved for the states, massively expanding health and welfare programs when we can't even meet previous obligations, enriching special interest cronies with taxpayer money, indebting future generations to incomprehensible levels, failing to protect our borders, and on and on and on!
Many Republicans not only want to change politicians , but they also Dallas Stars want to provide new guards for our future security. The 2010 Idaho Republican Party State Convention last weekend in Idaho Falls was filled with ideas for restoring the timeless principles behind the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. Unlike Idaho Democrats who shut the press out of their platform discussions just weeks ago, the GOP Convention was transparent and open to the public.
I was one of the delegates to the Republican Convention and would like to highlight some of the ideas that were presented. Of course, some will work out and some will never work their way through the extensive legislative process. I will divide the ideas into two categories -- free market economics and government accountability -- and explain some of the background reasoning.
FREE MARKET ECONOMICS
The election of Miracle Man Obama --not only can
I.
he feed the 6 billion, but he can also provide them with housing, transportation , communications, defense, medical care and retirement --proves that government schools have not accurately taught economics for generations.
Parents, even if you supplement your child's education with public or private schooling, it doesn't remove your primary responsibility. Please make sure your children learn great American principles such as free market economics.
Let's define some basic economic terms and discuss how they relate to our circumstances. To learn more, I recommend the Ludwig von Mises Institute (http:// mises.org), a research and educational center that offers many thousands of free resources on economics and liberty.
watches-r Inflation is an increase in the money supply. There is an average of a two year time delay between monetary inflation and the resulting price increases. So when will we likely see the results of the "bailouts" of late 2008 and the "stimulus " of early 2009?

Powerful Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass., praises many Italian imports: Ferrari cars, Armani suits and delicious prosciutto ham.
But when it comes to importing Italian low-level radioactive waste to Utah, he winced and exclaimed Friday, "It makes me say, 'Mama mia!' "
Markey chaired a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee hearing on a bill co-sponsored by Rep. Jim Matheson, D-Utah, to ban shipment of such foreign waste to America. Witnesses from all sides of the issue said action by Congress may be the only way to stop it, if recent court rulings hold.
EnergySolutions has proposed to import to its Clive, Utah, facility 20,000 tons of such Italian waste, including lab coats, shoe coverings, cleaning cloths and similar materials used by workers at nuclear-power plants. It would go to Utah after processing at a Tennessee facility.
That import was opposed both by Utah and a compact of Northwest states, one of many compacts nationwide that Congress set up to let regions control what nuclear-plant wastes they may import -- and thereby make each region take care of most of its own waste.
However, EnergySolutions successfully argued in federal court that it is a D_G_Bags private facility and not part of the national compact system, so the state and Northwest compact could not stop it from importing foreign waste. The case is now on appeal.
If the ruling holds, witnesses said, only Congress could stop importing such foreign waste to Utah. Critics said lack of congressional action could make America, and specifically Utah, the world's dumping ground and threaten to break up the compact system. EnergySolutions said it is much ado about nothing.
"Using 4.3 acres of disposal capacity for internationally generated material will not turn the United States into 'the world's dumping ground,' " said EnergySolutions President Val Christensen.
Christensen said his company previously committed to use no more than the 4.3 acres at Clive for foreign disposal, and he said Friday that it is now also willing to commit to take such foreign waste for no more than 10 years.
He testified that "will give us ample time to establish, or assist in the establishment of, low-level radioactive-waste- disposal facilities abroad. We are exploring opportunities with several European and Asian countries to site LLRW facilities."
He said banning EnergySolutions from taking foreign waste Athletic Jordans shoes would hurt its efforts to be a player in current expansion of nuclear facilities abroad -- and handling waste and safety for them -- because now it could offer an extra perk of temporarily helping to handle some low-level nuclear waste in Utah.
But Markey said, "No other nuclear-generating country allows low- level waste importation for disposal. In fact, many countries with nuclear programs do not even have disposal facilities for their own low-level wastes. That includes Italy."
He added, "If the United States remains the one country that allows for the disposal of foreign waste, then nothing stops those other countries from using us as their nuclear dumping ground."
Under questioning by Matheson, Margaret Doane, director of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Office of International Programs, said the NRC has no power to stop importation of foreign waste, unless its poses a health, safety or security risk.

The ongoing tussle over the upkeep of the Lotus Pond in Cubbon Park has sparked a public debate on the question whether it is advisable to leave commonwealths like ponds and lakes with the government or allow a private partnership in their maintenance.
Lotus Pond, the pride of Cubbon Park, had Roger Dubuis Fake seen frequent mass death of fishes owing to unchecked effluent flowing into it. Justice MF Saldanha, who led a mass protest recently over the negligence of the horticulture department, has filed a complaint with the Lokayukta of misappropriation of funds and criminal attack on protesters by the horticulture officials. He accuses the officials of doing everything in frustrating the good works done by voluntary agencies in keeping the pond clean.
"There is a stream in the Cubbon Park that has been polluted by waste thrown by callous visitors. To prevent it from entering the pond, protective walls, fencing and desilting are to be done periodically," he says.
The officials are bent on securing big funds from the government for the upkeep of the ponds. But they do not want the involvement of well-meaning citizens in this task as they want to salt away the money. The horticulture department plans to drain the pond of fishes and other water creatures to the nearby Lalbagh to desilt the pond. This, Saldanha says, is uncalled for.
Leo Saldanha, coordinator of the Environment Support Group which had led the Save Cubbon Park Campaign in 1998 that saved part of the park from getting denotified for commercial use, says the pond is a natural corollary of the government's apathy to the park. "The neglect of the lotus pond is but an invariable consequence of the careless attitude adopted by successive governments.锟?If Cubbon Park is ruined, the very soul of Bangalore is lost. We are not just fighting for the pond, we are concerned for the whole of the Cubbon Park," Leo says.
Fake RADO Watches Bimal Desai, who had single-handedly fought for Cubbon Park's preservation for 12 years, says he has little hope and faith in the government's motive. "I have been fighting for years over this issue but the situation has not improved."
锟絋he deputy director of horticulture department KG Jayadev says the authority will move all the ducks, geese, and other birds to Lalbagh temporarily. The veterinarians in the department will decide on whether Replica Bally to retain the fishes and water birds in the pond.锟?Rainwater harvest will help rejuvenate the pond.
"After completing the desilting work in Lotus Pond, we plan to carry out an effective micro-organism treatment in the pond for liquid waste, sludge and to quell the foul odour emanating from the pond,'' he says.
Upping his ante, the horticulture minister Umesh Katti continues to question the patronisation of the pond by justice Saldanha. "The pond in Cubbon park is a horticulture department property. We have decided to rejuvenate the lake. For that, we will take fish and put it into other lakes. It is a temporary measure. Once it is rejuvenated, we will put back the fishes," he says.
"If justice MF Saldanha is really concerned about the pond, he can give constructive suggestions, we will take it. But if he tries to disturb the rejuvenation work, we will not tolerate it and will take all lawful action against the protesters. I have directed my officers to go head with the desilting work and they will carry on," says Katti.

Brazil began their quest for a sixth world crown with victory over North Korea at Ellis Park but it was far from a vintage display from Dunga's men against hard-working opposition.
The Koreans, ranked 85th in the world, kept Brazil at bay for 55 minutes until Maicon's cross-cum-shot swerved in at the near post.
Three points were assured by a rare moment of magic as Robinho laid a second goal on a plate for former Manchester City team-mate Elano, although Ji Yun-nam gave them a late scare by halving the deficit.
The win took Brazil top of Group G, above Portugal and the Ivory Coast, but they did not look particularly convincing in living up to their tag of joint World Cup favourites alongside Spain.
The North Koreans were the first to have a shot on target after 10 minutes when Japan-born striker Jong Tae-se bustled past two markers and drilled in a left-footed shot which Julio Cesar was able to gather.
Brazil were dominating possession but struggling to pick the final pass and the Koreans were not purely sitting back as Cha Jong- hyok got forward to blast a left-footed shot wide after 15 minutes.
The South Americans threatened when Luis Fabiano slotted the ball through to Robinho in the box. The forward, on loan at Santos from Manchester City, Replica Hamilton Watches was able to make room for a shot but North Korea goalkeeper Ri Myong-guk got well behind it.
The lack of genuine width seemed to be causing Brazil problems as North Korea's five-man defence ganged up on Kaka, Luis Fabiano, Robinho and Elano in a congested attacking third and Kim Jong-hun's team were content to burst forward in small numbers on the break.
Replica Hermes Goalkeeper Ri parried away a Maicon drive at his near post in the 28th minute which was Brazil's best effort up to that point.
The North Koreans were making a fight of it and, following a corner, Pak Chol-jin cut the ball back from the right to Ri Kwang- chon but the defender scuffed a presentable shooting chance wide from 25 yards.
Not much was going Brazil's way as Michel Bastos' shot deflected off Pak Chol-jin and looped over the crossbar with Hungarian referee Viktor Kassai wrongly awarding a goal-kick, and Ri Kwang-chon made a vital header clear under pressure from Luis Fabiano as the half ended goalless. Brazil struggled to find a way through after the break.
Michel Bastos blasted a free-kick wide from just outside the box in the 51st minute after Pak Chol-jin was penalised for a foul on Kaka. The Real Madrid star then chested the ball down for Robinho to shoot from 26 yards but his right-footed effort was again wayward.
Seiko Watch Replica The goal finally came on 55 minutes when Elano played the ball into the box for the overlapping Maicon and his shot beat Ri at the near post, with the goalkeeper seemingly expecting the Inter Milan full-back to cut the ball back rather than shoot.
Ri fisted clear another long-range drive from Michel Bastos and, as North Korea committed more men forward, they left gaps. On one counter-attack Robinho found Luis Fabiano, who beat defender Ri Jun- il in the box but blasted a left-footed shot over.
Brazil added a second in the 72nd minute and it was a thing of beauty as Robinho slipped a perfect through-ball to Elano advancing into the box on the right and the Galatasa

A JUDGE has branded a violent city centre attack as "disgraceful and horrendous" as he sentenced four men who took part.
Victim John Sutherns was left in a coma with head injuries and has never fully recovered.
Judge Jonathan Teare said: "Only after intensive care by the medical teams was he able to survive those injuries, and after considerable rehabilitation, he is left a shadow of his former self."
The 30-year-old catalog printing from Thorneywood was surrounded by a group and beaten up in Bromley Place in October 2006. His friend, Mike Williams, was bitten on the back, through his T-shirt, and also on his ear.
Another friend, Dave Morris, suffered a cut above his eye, a severe black eye and swollen face. Police managed to get a sample of DNA but no match came up on the national database.
It was two years later that they got their lead, when one of Mr Sutherns' attackers, Robert McCartney, was arrested in connection with a minor offence.
DNA from him matched the previously "unidentified" profile on the database. The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm on Mr Williams and grievous bodily harm with intent on Mr Sutherns last year. He was jailed for four years.
Best Panerai Watches Online 深圳搬家 Three other men were arrested in relation to the incident after CCTV footage of them from a camera on Maid Marian Way was published in the Post. One of the offenders was Robert McCartney's 22-year- old brother, Alex.

At Nottingham Crown Court last month, they pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm to Mr Morris. They received community orders and must carry out unpaid work. Alex McCartney must also pay Pounds 500 compensation to Mr Morris.

Chocolates, shrub, maybe ancient document
Chocolates made with beets, a brand-new kind of shrub, Chantal Kreviazuk and maybe even the Magna Carta.
Those are some of the things ready to welcome Queen Elizabeth II when she arrives in Winnipeg Saturday for a whirlwind, six-hour tour, likely her last to Winnipeg.
"We're very, very happy," said Wilbert Ronald, owner and president of Jeffries Nursery in Portage la Prairie where a new shrub was developed for the Queen's visit. "At the same time, there are many people who have to share the glory."
The Amber Jubilee Ninebark, a delicate but hearty bush whose leaves change colour from amber to purple, is among the commemorative items Manitobans have created for the Queen's inspection.
She'll help plant the shrub next to Government House during one of her two main public walkabouts. Her other major public appearance is at The Forks, where she'll be serenaded by Winnipeg chanteuse Kreviazuk, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and many others at an outdoor concert.
LED downlights The Queen will also be the first person to arrive at the new Richardson International Airport terminal and it will be the first time in her 84 years she has ever walked an airport bridge.
The Queen's visit is costing the province a modest $42,000 -- a fraction of the price of Her Majesty's two-day visit in 2002.
But, it's still a logistical nightmare. Dignitaries and invited VIPs have to be briefed on protocol and manoeuvred into place. Streets must be blocked off for her long motorcade, including Kennedy Street. RCMP and Winnipeg police must ensure security is tight but not intrusive. An army of cranky local, national and international media need to be accommodated. Events must be tailored to showcase Manitoba's best features while also catering to the Queen's real interests. And the food has to be lovely.
Two fine chocolates created by chocolatier Constance Popp will be nestled in a special box beside the table setting at the lunch hosted by Lt.-Gov. Philip Lee for the Queen and 72 special guests, including former premiers, senior civil servants and well-known Winnipeggers like women's Olympic hockey star Jennifer Botterill.
The Queen will be munching on a Manitoba maple syrup butter cream chocolate and a Manitoba red beet truffle with pepper, salt and caraway seed, both chosen after taste-testing by Lt.-Gov. Lee and other provincial officials.
The Queen won't be the first member of the Royal Family to nosh on Popp's chocolate. Prince Andrew also was presented with her chocolate during his last visit.
Will Popp meet the Queen?
"I didn't even ask," she said. "I only make the chocolate. I don't think I'm even more special than that."
The public gathered outside Government House might also get a sweet treat -- an Imperial cookie baked with real butter and pure almond extract made by Winnipeg's High Tea Bakery.
Replica Clothing brands "We're making 3,000 handmade cookies, which is actually 6,000 cookies because an Imperial cookie is a sandwich cookie," said bakery co-owner Belinda Bigold, who is also inscribing Her Majesty's crest on each cookie in red icing by hand.
Girl Guides, eight of them, will hand the cookies out during the Queen's walkabout.
"This is a great opportunity for them to do this," said Elaine Cullingham, executive

Brazil becomes 2nd squad of top 16, slashing Cote d'Ivoire 3-1 (updated)
JOHANNESBURG, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Five-time World Cup winners Brazil secured a berth in the knockout stage of World Cup by slashing Cote d'Ivoire 3-1 in the Soccer City stadium here on Sunday.
It was the second match of the Selecao in Group G after they defeated the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) 2-1 on June 15 when Cote d'Ivoire drew Portugal 0-0 in their first group match in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Both squads had prudent organization since the beginning, especially the Elephants which had sought counter-attack chances while taking tight defense line-up as many analysts forecast ahead of the duel.
Failing the expectation of coach Sven Goran Eriksson, Cote d'Ivoire did not show consistent performance as time went by. The porous defense made the Elephants pay a high cost.
Brazilian core midfielder Kaka broke the replica tag heuer watches deadlock in the 25th minute. He grasped a fault of Cote d'Ivoire defenders in passing and fed the ball into the path of talented forward Luis Fabiano. The latter fired it into the roof of the net with a powerful thrust, putting the South Americans in the leading position.
Kaka's display in assisting attacks of teammates proved his prominence in the pitch. His sluggish performance in the prior match against the DPRK has been heavily criticized by football fans.
Fabiano shone again five minutes after the interval. He flicked over one defender's challenge and slammed home into the corner of the net with his left foot.
The goal has aroused controversy among fans as it had a hint of handball. But referee Stephane Lannoy did not sign a judgment.
Brazil's midfielder Replica Roger Dubuis Elano who played for Turkey's Galatasaray extended their lead in the 62nd minute with a close-range shot.
The Elephants strived to score once in the 79th minute when substitute forward Gervinho's run enabled the ball fall to Barcelona's renowned midfielder Yaya Toure. Captain Didier Drogba headed the ball and made it bounce into the upper corner of the net.
The fierce clash of the two squads led to chaos when the match entered the last 10 minutes. Kaka received his second yellow card after he seemed to elbow Cote d'Ivoire substitute Kader Keita following a collision. The Real Madrid man was off the pitch.
The two sides have never drawn swords at senior level. The only prior encounter between Brazil and Cote d'Ivoire took place in the FIFA U-20 World Cup. They shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the 1977 edition in Tunisia.
prada Handbags With the victory, Brazil continued its glittering tradition of winning on South African soil: apart from their win against DPRK, five in the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 and two friendlies against the home team in 1996 and 1997.

Brazil beats DPR Korea 2-1 in World Cup (updated with quotes)
JOHANNESBURG, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Maicon's brilliant shot from the acutest of angles and Elano's fabulous goal gave the five-time world champions Brazil a 2-1 winning start as they beat the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in a World Cup Group G match on Tuesday.
Brazil remain the only team to be involved in all World Cups while DPR Korea returned to the stage after a 44-year absence.
Brazil and DPR Korea both played at the 1966 World Cup edition, where the Asians beat Italy to reach the quarter-finals but Brazil exited in the group stage.
As expected, Victorinox Swiss Army Replica Watches DPR Korea's coach Kim Jong-Hun released a 5-3-2 defence formation, which proved effective as Brazil's attempts to pierce into DPR Korea's defence ended in vain and thus were held 0- 0 in the first half.
Brazil began to find the gaps of DPR Korea's defence in the second half as at the 57th minute, Maicon received the cross from Elano and hit a shot from the acutest of angles. Brazil led 1-0.
At the 72nd minute, Brazil made it 2-0 as Robinho passed perfectly to Elano, who made a well-timed shot.
Brazil posed a great pressure on DPR Korea but got loose in their own defence. At the 89th minute, Jong Tae Se, who has scored the last three DPR Korea goals and promised to score at least one goal in all three group matches, headed the ball to the path of Ji Yun Nam, who put in a consolation goal for DPR Korea.
Now favourites Brazil topped Group G with three points, followed by Cote d'Ivoire and Portugal, who tied 0-0 in an earlier match.
Fendi Replica Maicon got emotional in a post-match press conference, saying he kissed the ring to thank his wife for years' support.
When commenting on Maicon's brilliant goal, Brazil's coach Dunga was not surprised at it, saying that Maicon's score in this fashion was not the first time as he did this during training sessions.
Dunga also anticipated Kaka's substitution as he has not played a full match in the last five matches.
"I'm not happy with the first half and we changed the rhythm and speed in the second." added Dunga. Parmigiani Watch
Kim Jong Hun, coach of DPR Korea, said that the team carried out their plan in the first half.
"We were well prepared against their tactics. We must pass quickly and we fought bravely," said he."We gained experience from this match and will be more confident to play better next game. We are very happy for the scoring".
DPR Korea's 2-1 loss was the best result between an Asian team and Brazil in World Cup, who met Asian teams twice as in 2002 they beat China 4-0 and humiliated Japan 4-1 four years later.
